1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Storyverse Inc. ("Storyverse," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with StoryVerse, including our website, our early-access waitlist, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Service operated by Storyverse. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, embeds, tools, storage services, or links that we do not control.

The Service is currently a website describing the product and a waitlist for early access. It does not yet include user accounts, paid subscriptions, or uploads. If we add those features, this Privacy Policy may be updated to describe the additional data involved.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service.

3.1 Information You Provide

You may provide information directly to us, such as:

• Your email address, when you ask to join the early-access waitlist.
• Your name, email address, or contact details when you contact us.
• Messages, feedback, support requests, or other communications you send to us.
• Account information if we introduce user accounts in the future.
• Billing information if we introduce paid subscriptions or purchases in the future. Payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider rather than stored by Storyverse.

The Service does not currently allow uploads, submissions, comments, or community posts.

3.2 Usage and Device Information

When you access the Service, we or our service providers may collect technical and usage information, such as:

• IP address.
• Browser type and version.
• Device type and operating system.
• Pages viewed.
• Referring and exit pages.
• Date and time of access.
• Approximate location derived from IP address.
• Which section of the page you reached, and which parts of it you opened.
• The campaign, source, and referring page you arrived from, where an address carries them.
• Log data used for security, debugging, and service operation.

3.3 Waitlist Activity

When you ask to join the waitlist, we record the address you entered, the time, the form you used, the page or campaign that brought you, and the network address the request came from. We record whether and when the confirmation link was followed, because an address is only added to the list once it has been.

The network address is used to limit how many requests one source may make in an hour, and to operate and secure the Service. It is not used to identify you.

3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for:

• Essential site functionality.
• Security and abuse prevention, including the challenge that protects the waitlist form.
• Preferences.
• Analytics and product measurement.

We use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. These may collect usage, device, and cookie-related information, and may assign an identifier to your browser.

One of these tools records sessions. A session recording captures how a page was used — pointer movement, clicks, scrolling, and the sequence of pages — so that we can see where the Service is confusing. It is not a recording of your screen, your camera, or your microphone, and we configure it to mask text entered into form fields.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

The Service may use third-party services to operate, store, embed, or manage content. These may include:

• Hosting and content delivery providers, which serve the website.
• Database and storage providers, which hold the waitlist and the rest of the Service's data.
• Security providers, which supply the challenge distinguishing a person from a script on the waitlist form.
• Email delivery providers, which send the waitlist confirmation email.
• Analytics and product measurement providers, one of which records sessions as described in section 3.4.

These third-party services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Operate the early-access waitlist, including sending the confirmation email and adding a confirmed address to the list.
• Respond to inquiries and support requests.
• Monitor site performance and fix bugs.

• Protect the Service against abuse, fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized access.

• Account-related information, if accounts are introduced, may be retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion.

You are responsible for using secure devices, networks, and account credentials if account features are introduced.

If you join the waitlist, we send one email asking you to confirm the address. Nothing further is sent unless the link in it is followed: an unconfirmed address receives no announcements. Once confirmed, we may write to you about early access and the launch of the Service.

You can leave the waitlist at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us.

14. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us at hello@storyverseai.art and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

15. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Service may include links to third-party websites, including our own pages on social platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. You should review their privacy policies before using their services.
